To our loyal members,

I wish to address you all on recent happenings within VersonoGaming. We all know that our main server (PERP) has been unstable so to speak and has had issues. These issues have caused many of you to flock to rival PERP servers. This I can understand. What you must know though is that although we have run into issues here and there, we're trying to provide you with the best playing experience possible. Our resident coder (Bob) is aware of all the issues and bugs in PERP and is always working on fixing the bugs and adding new features.

I can guarantee you all that when Bob gets the time to fix the current bugs and issues in PERP we'll be back to #1 in no time. The only thing we need is the reassurance of our community. All these bugs will pay off.

So to sum this all up, yes we have had issues affecting PERP and yes this has been a low in VersonoGaming activity wise but none of this is for nothing. Once we implement the planned material for PERP, we'll be back, ripping the competition a new one in no time. All we need is the patience of our community.

Ladies and Gentleman,

To clear things up, and elaborate on recent occurrences to VersonoGaming, and more specifically our Perp server.

Over the course of the last couple of days, we have implemented various patches and fixes to the server, as well as some minor upgrades. The 'Cocaine' implantation was also underway, however due to some minor issues, the coding backfired and caused various problems with the Perp server. The 'Cocaine' implantation was said to be the cause of various other issues. Unfortunately, due to these unforeseen issues, the 'Cocaine' implantation had to be abandoned, and sent back to the drawing board for further analysis.

In the meantime, the Perp server has been restored to a previous point. The minor upgrades/updates have been implemented, however the 'Cocaine' implantation warrants further review.

We apologise for this inconvenience, however these issues were unforeseen by us as well. Please understand, these upgrades and updates are to enhance your playing experience. We're doing this for our members, for continued satisfaction on our server(s). We would appreciate if members would stop hassling management in regards to what has transpired recently.

As of this moment, the server is fine and healthy. We would appreciate it if you would continue to play on our servers.

Due to the fact VersonoFM gets used quite a bit now, I've gone ahead and implemented some new features, all of which can be seen on the VersonoFM player page.

Here's a run down of the features:

• A request script which enables users to submit requests using a form
• A 'DJ Says' message which allows DJs to set a message to their listeners
• A schedule which can be updated by the DJ's themselves
• And for the DJ's, a new radio control panel to manage all these plus more
• Updated 11/5/2012 - New player and an updated DJ web panel
  

We've received numerous complains about snow, so now we're taking it to the polls. The majority vote will win.

Feel free to reply with your personal opinion on snow on PERP. Please do note though that in future snow will be fixed and won't be as annoying.

We've added a new little feature to the forums. We now have a spell checker which allows you to check spelling before posting. To use it, just click the little icon (the one that says abc and has a tick) and it will check your spelling. If it finds errors, it will show you and suggest words to you. An image of it can be seen below.



I hope this feature is of some use to you.

As I know some of you check the forums via mobile phone, I've installed a plugin which will allow the forums to be correctly displayed on mobile devices allowing you to easily post and browse the forums whilst on the go.

Although this works fine with browsing the forums and posting threads, I'm unsure how it would go with the arcade etc. The main purpose of the mod is to allow you to browse the forums and post whilst on a mobile device. I've checked this myself on my phone and it works perfectly.

As some of you may have noticed we've been experiencing problems with our banning system (Source Bans) and Donations. This is due to a problem with our webhost and them blocking some ports which in turn is preventing the bans system from accessing the server and applying the bans, and preventing the auto donate system from functioning correctly.

We apologise for these inconveniences, and you will be updated when these issues have been resolved. Thanks for your patience.

Today I've updated the forums and added some new features and changed a few things around.

Website Updates
- Added downloads page which includes downloads for all our servers
- Removed PERP page as everything you need for PERP is on the forums and downloads page
- Removed VersonoFM page as VersonoFM server expires soon and will not be renewed due to lack of use
- Added the Gallery to post any VersonoGaming screenshots, memes, random images etc!
- Added a few more arcade games, lets get the arcade a bit more active!

Edit: vGFM has been renewed. You can only listen in-game, though.
